Nonprofit Redeemer Center for Life opened Venture North in 2011 as a full-service bike and coffee shop committed to serving bike enthusiasts, coffee lovers, and the Residents of North Minneapolis.

​Venture North is committed to making the Harrison neighborhood of North Minneapolis an empowering, healthy place to live by increasing racial, economic, and gender equity within the biking community. 

At Venture North, professional mechanics offer a variety of services and have a well-stocked inventory of bike parts, accessories, and necessities. Beyond the call of traditional bike shops, our youth-centric staff also offer exciting outreach programs for all ages, skills, and economic backgrounds which encourage bike savviness, confidence in skills, and knowledge of bike safety.

Venture North's impact spreads beyond the four walls of 1830 Glenwood. We strive to answer North Minneapolis residents' call for increased employment opportunities, investment in our youth, and platforms for local artists. Venture North serves you coffee, bikes, community, and opportunity.
